I've been using Thompson's Blue Angle for just about forever. I think I ran into a stick or two that was harder than before. And just tonight, it was easier to lube the bullets. By that I mean I could turn the top crank of the Lyman 450 much easier. Same bullet being lubed--a different lot of lube is about all I can come up with.

Any thoughts???

tes it does vary some. It is difficult at best to keep the product the same each time. When you buy your supplies from others and try to combine them the same each time you will have a varience.

used lbt blue for many years and every batch seemed a little different.

my lube of choise now is Billy marrs blue lube mixed 5050 with Javalina it works GREAT I get no leading and it stays on the bullets when storing and handling.

I've used many different lubes, and I prefer Rooster Red Zambini
(Hard lube requireing a heat source) It's not sticky, and seems to work well for all applications (both pistol and rifle)

As a follow-up I tried some Thompson Red Angle--didn't seem to do as well. Was sticky and seemed to come out of the lube grooves. Went back to Blue Angle as my lube of choice
