"Other Men's Horses" by Elmer Kelton
« on: January 23, 2010, 08:16:49 AM »
This is the final work by Kelton. He passed on Aug. 22, 2009. I've considered Kelton to be the best western yarn spinner ever for many years. I wasn't alone as he was voted the best western writer ever by his peers.

It is a tale of a ranger in frontier Texas and a horse thief. It is an entirely believable story that kept me glued to the book. All his characters in his many novels have always seemed to be real people.

Thanks for the reminder on Elmer I have read some of his books before and enjoyed them.
