Fox Trapper- Question on Location

Ok, I have an ideal piece of property to trap. It is a 1200 acre soybean farm, along the river, with a large stream running through the center. I went to scout last week when the beans were still in the fields and saw alot of coon and otter sign. The farmers wife swears that she always sees fox chasing her peacocks. I have yet to find much fox sign at all! Now that the beans are cut, Im going back friday to scout again. What are some key locations to scout out for fox sign? Thanks for any help!-John Bruning

You can set locations without sign and catch canines.  Setting on sign of course is always better but  canines  travel edges like  hay field and cut bean field edge.  Set where two farm trails come together   at edge of woods or by bridge.  Remember canines travel the easiest route just like you would.  High points and low pts are good places .  A saddle   is good to set  ( low spot between two ridges ect).  An edge between high  grass or a field crop and short grass   is  good  also.
