Quirky things people should be arrested for
« on: February 02, 2010, 05:54:24 PM »
1) Frying overly crisp bacon
2) Baking cookies without enough chocolate chips in them
3) Stopping when the light turns yellow and there's plenty of time to make it through the intersection
4) Not returning a book borrowed from a friend
5) Driving a Pontiac Aztek
7) Calling in sick while not actually sick one day per year
8) Using verbal tics like ahh and umm and "you know" in more than 30% of sentences in a conversation
9) Painting their house vivid blue
10) Failing to have the wallet out, check mostly made out or cash in hand by the time they get up to the cashier at the supermarket.

1) I like very crispy bacon.  :P
3) The law says you must stop if you can do so safely, but I have been known to step on the gas peddle instead of the break peddle when the light turns yellow.  ;D
7) I refer to these as 'mental health days'.  ;)
8} Umm, like, well, you know, I think, like, it's a requirement or something, you know, if like, you're, ahh, a teenage girl from, like, umm, California you know.  8)

Brett:

You're looking at 15 years to life. Life if you were frying crispy bacon while driving an Aztek and stopping abruptly for a yellow light on your way to a Valley Girl convention on a scheduled vacation day because you refused to call in sick to attend the convention. You in a heapa trouble, boy!

Trust me there is a VERY GOOD reason. It's an old reason and that person might still be in prison and might not currently have access to a computer but they were the most filthy dirty mouth poster of porn and crap ever to hit this site and thousands of others back then. Far better to just have their favorite phrases censored than to ever again have to put up with the filth they spewed.

How about pulling up to the turnpike booth, fishing around for a wallet or purse, and then asking for directions. As if you didn't know 20 miles before your exit, you were going to have to pay. gypsyman

You forgot a MAJOR one.  Not offering sweet tea in any restaurant in any of the southern states.  Was in Dallas Ft. Worth area once and they had no sweet tea, only "raspberry" tea.  I told the yankee sounding woman she was in violation of the law and would be deported back to some state where it's very very cold......... ;D :D

... using the adjective epic to refer to anything but a long heroic tale like the Odyssey or the Illiad.
