reloading manual?

just got my new lee 2nd edition. there is no info in it for the 500 s&w. what manual has load data and info for the 500 with lead bullets. thanks in advance.

Decide what bullet you want to shoot then check their manual. If not listed then give them a call . If its cast  bullets check the Hodgdon site .I checked the guides i have none listed it .

 Lyman 49th Edition has 500 S&W, mostly jacketed bullets but there is one cast, 375 gr. #501680, in the handgun section, as well as the T/C Contender & Encore section.

Most of the time you can used the Jacketed data for cast bullets of the same weight , there are a few exceptions but not many , This is not true for using cast data for Jacketed bullets however .

The reason this works is that cast bullets cause less drag and therefore less pressure is built .

If I could only have one reloading manual, it would probably be the Lyman.  Fortunately, I have no such limitation.  Having more than 1 reloading manual is a good idea anyway.
