Ruger Cap&Ball revolver question
« on: February 08, 2010, 02:19:32 PM »
What is the top dollar on a NIB ruger cap & ball revolver? and if I dont like it, how much will it be worth after I shoot it a few times? when did ruger stop production on them ? is there an interchangeable drop in cartridge cylinder avalible for them? I have read they are among the most accurate BP hand guns so what kind of group shoud Iexpect at 25 yards? thanks so much, Lazarus

no comment on value new or used but there are at least 2 conversion cylinders availible to convert to 45 colt. 1 is the kirst have no experience with it. the other is the r&d. i had one of them in the old army i used to have. it shot good but was kinduva pain in the butt to load. made cleanin' easier tho' cause i could use cowboy level smokeless loads in it. for what it's worth, bubba.
