Frustrated....
« on: February 10, 2010, 01:01:36 PM »
Ok, apparently these little guns are the best thing since sliced bread... because no one freaking has them in stock!!!!!
I have contacted a dozen dealers and no one can find one in stock to order.........At one point I had "unofficial" orders going with three dealers... all looking for a week to order one if they found it. No luck.. any suggestions? I am wanting the Survivor .308. New. Two of the dealers said they could get it for $250-260... but they can't find it in stock. Even tried Walmart... They can't find it in stock either.
Please help. Anyone located near Indiana that has purchased this rifle..or know of a competitive priced online dealer. lol, my scope needs a gun to rest on....

Thanks,

Dustin

LOL. Preaching to the choir buddy  ;D

Ive had a 30-30 and a hornet "on order" for a LOOOONG time now. Same problem  that you are having.
It may be they are waiting for the new factory to get set up to make the barrels? dunno.

So now I just sit and wait, patiently.

btw, not to rub it in, but I have the .308 survivor and its a great rifle  8)
itll be worth the wait.

Dustin,
If I had to wait for my dealer to stock or even find a Handi for me, I'd be in the same boat as you. The best I can tell you is to check with online gun sales companies every day. They get new ones in all the time, but they sell out quick. Here's a link to two of them:

Good luck!

I would also expect that Gander Mountain could locate them somewhere in their inventory.

Maybe gun shows.  I go to all I can, and I see a lot of new Handi's.  According to federal regs, you can't buy a handgun out of your home state, but you can buy a long gun.  I'm always surprised at the availabilty of guns in neighboring states.
