Just an observation. But I've been a member here for about 4 years. I think this probably the best outdoor sports forum on the entire network. It only works because of the people on it
    .The people here ,have honor and integrity. They still believe that their word is their bond,and always give more than is required.They tell the truth as they know it, and don't critisize those who ask questions ,but do their best to help .They are civil to all ,even when they are provoked. I am proud to say that they are my friends, and hope never to break their trust. Thank you GB for giving us a place to meet and just relax with others who are of like mind.

I'd like to disagree with you on your observations......but I can't  ;)

This is a great site. For the most part, I truly think I'd be happy having just about any member here as a guest in my house.  Of course, you'd have to shovel a bit........and bring your own beer  ::)   :o   ;D

Could just wait til summer if you don't want to shovel....just bring some meat for the grill......and your own beer  ::)   :)

I have personally met several GBO members including Gray Beard himself. I feel I know several others through frequent postings. I can only say I have been impressed with the folks I have come to know on Gray Beard Outdoors face to face or through the internet. I really wish I lived closer to some of these outstanding citizens. Good Luck and Good Shooting everyone.

I agree,most members here have Honor and Integrity,and their word is good as gold.And when you stop and think about it,those things start at the top.Mr Greybeard is a straight shooter and has all the above! The moderators do also,and if not don't last long.G.B.O. is the best site on the net, a place where you can take your family,just like Mr Greybeard intended.

I was with the Marlin group that lost our home and yes indeed I thank Bill for taking us in.  I'm not sure of how many of the original group is still around.
