Green mountain Drop-In Barrels available
« on: February 25, 2010, 01:16:40 PM »
For a long time I could not find Green Mountain Drop-In Barrels for a T/C Hawken or Renegade.  Yesterday I emailed them to ask when they would start production again.  I got a reply saying they were manufacturing them now, and what kind was I interested in.  I just thought I'd pass that along in case anyone was looking for one.

I would say that GM's not making everything they list.

I talked to them, last week, wanting to buy a .32 or .36 barrel in 1" size to fit my .54 Renegade, and they told me they no longer make them - but I could get a .40.

That's why I bought an entire .32 Hawken rifle with a 1" GM barrel,  that came up F/S this week.

Yeah, but only for 50 caliber.   I think they are all the way done with the 32 and 36 drop ins.

Maybe I'll list my 36 in the classifieds since I won't ever shoot it.   No PM's about it please (pre inquiries will be ignored).   Just watch the classifieds...

One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

It seems like GM has been in the process of phasing out the .36 caliber even in their barrel blanks. They want you to buy either a .32 or a .40 caliber but a lot of us feel that the in-between .36 is just right.

maybe just not enough demand to justify manufacture? you guys know it's all about the bottom line now. my opinion and worth what ya paid for it, bubba.
