In April - I will travel to South Africa again - and this time I will bring with me a SRH in 44 Mag (again  :).
I have mounted a fibersight/Millet rear sight - because of my old eyes.

On a Weaver base - a Docter is mounted.

And of course: A 2x Leupold is in the bag (sighted in for big stuff as a giraf - but with a 300 gr Mimek).

I have a plan to shoot about 20-25 animals - and will try to "share" between the sights.
I will use a 255 Keith/1250 fps. ( I think it will be about 1300 fps in SA) for the fiber/Docter.

I have a one ragged hole sight that works fine.  I found them very easy to deal with and very prompt.  Then I went to a 2xburris which has worked alright but it is only 20 mm and needs a wider field of view.  I will either go to a red dot or a 2x6 b ushnell trophy.  I also like the looks of my iron sighted handgun but i am not putting it away just because I am over 60
