Best place for selling an air pistol
« on: February 18, 2010, 09:57:37 AM »
Hey all,

I'm selling a match air pistol (not through this posting!) and I want to make sure of several things:

I'd like to get the most money out of it that I can
and
I don't want to sell and ship it to somebody who shouldn't have it, either because of their age or location.

How best to do both??

Thanks in advance.
Just my Awf Hand comments...

I've bought & sold a lot of airguns on both Gunbroker and Auction Arms over the years. They have dedicated airgun sections.

You can ship airguns USPS and require an adult signature and/or require the buyer to provide a copy of his driver's licence.

What I do when selling an airgun is to stipulate "no sales where prohibited" and then check laws in the buyers city/state before shipping.

After following Victor3's advice I would go the the 54 fourm and do a search for what I am selling to see what my pistol is selling for....
