Reloading .32 S&W with .32ACP Dies
« on: February 16, 2010, 12:45:17 PM »
That's my question. Can I reload .32 S&W with .32ACP dies. Right not I use .32ACP to reload .32ACP (of course) and .32 S&W Long. What about .32 S&W

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,

Reloaded 50 .32 S & W about a week ago with a set of Lee .32 ACP dies.  You will have to unscrew the neck expanding die and put some small washers between the neck expander and the top piece that you dump the powder through.  I was loading the Lyman 89 gr RN bullet and was able to seat and just barely crimp the case in the seating die.  My charge was a miniscule amount of WW231 ( look in the Hogdon manual ).

It will work with Lee dies, but not sure about Lyman or RCBS.

Good luck.

Steve
