mine won't work

Vearl,
I've been casting for 19 years, I own 9 of your molds and love all but one! About 15 years ago I bought (form you) a 30 cal. GOP, 310 dia. mold. But I never could get the bullets to shoot so I put the mold on the shelf. This winter I took the mold down and started messing with it again, I feel I've followed your instruction fairly carefuly but  I am wondering if I may be sizing the projectiles down to far (308 dia.)? And yes I do use your lube.

As a side note I've taken 1 moose, 1 bear, 8 elk, 12 deer, 3 antelope and 1 house cat with various 45 cal. LBT bullets, most were 1 shot kills.

Why didn't you write just the one last line?  I liked that!

The glue on patch bullets aren't good performers when sized too much, or when shot in rifles with very large throats.  When deformed to dramatically the paper tears up and performance goes out the window.  Mostly I've have very good reports, but a few bad ones, and all the bad ones have been from shooting in very worn throats and trying for top speeds.  ----  Which is the real purpose for the bullet!

After haveing I believe three other negative reports, I've been demanding throat slugs and asking technical questions before selling these molds.  Please contact me personally at LBTisAccuracy@Imbris.net   and I'll see if I can get your problems sorted out.  However, first try them as large as possible and still get them chambered without force.  If you size smaller than that, they are going to swell up there anyhow when the primer pops, then get sized back down, which makes three workouts for the paper.
