Rock River Arms 9mm AR ?

 When did RRA go to a dedicated (intergral) 9mm mag well on their LAR 9 Lowers ?

 I was under the impression that they used their proprietary mag block in a standard AR lower ... Just happened to be searching for reviews and thoughts on this rifle from RRA .. And found some picks of a gentlemans new LAR 9mm and a couple were pics of the bottom of the mag well and it isnt a add on mag block ...

  I would like to pick up a RRA LAR 9 but dont know if I want to lose the option of switching to 223/556 , 6.8 etc.

 Any help here guys or knowledge good or bad on this rifle would be much appreciated.
