Dalai Lama Trots Past White House TrashAnother dustup in the White House's Office of Protocol? The same folks who offered the near-blind Prime Minister of Britain a set of unwatchable DVDs now might have another mess to deal with: ushering the spiritual leader of Tibet out a White House side door along a route strewn with garbage bags.

China was upset that the pres had the Dalai Lama in for tea and crumpets, so he had to sneak him out the back door. Another shameful incident at the WH.

i heard him talk a bit on tv..he and i differ on our roads to  growth..but what he had to say was interesting.. slim
 ps. he to will have to make the decision of accepting christ as the only path to the father though..

 The Dalai visited Memphis a few months back.  It was in the middle of all the hype & hoopla regarding swine flu, so in an effort to prevent the possible passing of swine flu, temporary mayor Myron lowery greeted the Dalai not with a handshake, but a  fistbump.  It caused quite a stir in the press and  I found it to be kind of a chickenshit way to greet someone.  I would've shaken his hand, swine flu be damned.
 The political leadership in Memphis are some of the many reasons why I'm glad I live in Arkansas.

I thought I heard on the news that Obama gave the Dali Lama a set of cuff links. A strange gift for a man who doesn't wear shirts. Is this an internet rumor or did it really happen?
