Leupold Fixed Power Scopes
« on: November 08, 2003, 03:46:36 PM »
Where does Leupolds fixed power scopes fall VI, VII, VIII. I may consider a fixed power scope at 4x32 I never use anything higher while hunting anyway and if the fixed scopes give your better glass for the saving on a variable why not, plus free rings and mounts. I like the long eye relief at 4. Any idea's out there?

cocojo,

The M8 4x33 falls somewhere between the Rifleman and the VX-I.  They offer Magnesium Flouride coating and Friction Adjustment, which is the same as the Rifleman.  But being a fixed power you are going to be a bit bright than the Rifleman, due to less lenses.
