Fusing

What do you guys commonly use for fusing on your golfball mortars? I made two barrels couple of years back that I never finished.(one from material provided here) Just never vented.
What's best?

Thanks
Bob

This past year I went exclusively to quill and linstock.   I like the control.    You will find links to quill making listed under Other cannon project in the Reference sticky at the top of the forum.

Thanks DD.
I would have thought a smaller hole would be better to retain pressure in such a small chamber.

I use quickmatch and linstock.  Used cannon fuse for a while, but it burns too slow - you never know when you have a hang fire, and people get bored waiting for it, which leads to dangerous situations.  I don't have a GB mortar, though.

The pressure loss is insignificant. Take a look at some of our videos from the Montana shoot and see what you think.
