T/C list?
« on: February 20, 2010, 04:29:12 AM »
Several years back, I was on a tc list on the internet. I've been looking at getting back on but can't find it. All posts and replies came in through email and I guess it was kinda like a chatroom as you could buy or sell or ask questions or get reloading info or whatever for the Contender. I want to say to subscribe you had to send an email to tclist@prairienet or something like that. Can anyone help me out? Or does this even exist anymore? thanks in advance. Kelly

Yes, that was a very good site, but, it's been history for a number of years now :(.  I forget who ran it, but as well as I remember there was no official connection to Thompson Center Arms.

What you might be looking for is this, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TC-L/
I used to subscribe but there seemed to be to much off topic 'stuff' for me.  As I recall this site was on maybe another server, PraireeNet or something like that, and they moved it over to yahoo.

Czech nailed it.

I was a charter member on the list W A Y back when Chuck started it (on prairie.net as said) and ran it for some years.   It was "THE" TC place on the Internet then.   Still stop by every year or two, and some of the original charter members are still there.   A couple of them are here on GBO now too.

I was a charter member of the VH1 list too - "The Seekers of the Red Mist".  :)
