Gave my 357 Ruger BH to John Linebaugh to go over for me and got it back Wen. from John. While I'm checking it out and in heaven working the action,

John drops a 500 Linebaugh cartridge in my hand and tells me "I can change that 357 into one of these for ya."

Oh man, what temptation! That cartridge make much more sense to me than the 500 S&W which is too long to fit in a normal Ruger. Time to start stickin $ in the piggy bank again.

May keep the 357 as she sets and give him a 10 1/2" 44 mag that I never use due to it being so long, to rework. Now to make up my mind between the 475 Linebaugh or the 500. 475 could also use 480 Ruger as a sort of "480 Special". Just have to make up my mind before John says he's gonna retire, he's mentioned it a time or 2. By the way, if anyone is interested in a sixgun seminar put on by John Linebaugh in Cody, Wyo., PM me and I'll give you his contact info. Dates are June 14-15-16. Or if you want a craftsman to sweeten your Ruger!
