The question of what O/U is best can't really be answered so I will ask what O/U is most prevalent in the field and why. Looking for a O/U to use on birds and rabbits mainly.Price wise lets keep the suggestions under say 1500.00 If the only answer you can give is brownings rule or any other equally useless answer please don't respond

Browning Citori, without a doubt. That doesn't mean it's the best choice for the money. Look at the Berettas.

Yup without a doubt the Browning Citori is the most commonly encountered O/U whether in the field or on the clay target ranges.

Why? They are sold everywhere. They are solid performers which fit most shooters well enough to allow them to shoot them well. They are reasonably priced and the Browning name means quality to a LOT of folks.

Dunno about everywhere else but around here Beretta is likely the next most common followed by Ruger.
