Lloyd, ya know, I don't think I'm gonna apply this year.  I have for 20 years.  By the time I figure the cost of the license, paying to hunt private land with a "guide", staying in a motel and eating out, paying for processing, etc.  I might as well put away a few more bucks and do a western hunt with an outfitter and see some beautiful country.

Of course, I could have Patty join your wife and double our chances ::) ::)  They'd have to work pretty hard for a couple of old ladies. ;)

pete even with all the extras its a bunch cheaper then a guided western hunt. Im fortunate to have freinds living in the area so board would be free and theyve even offfered to set me up with a free guide if i pulled a tag.

Lloyd, it sounds like you've got it made if you can just draw a tag.

Have you heard anything yet about a shoot in July?  I've got a Pietta 1858 target model I'm going to bring down for the raffle.  It's got two cylinders, a belt and holster.  I think Patty is weaving a table runner to take down.  Patty and I are going to stay at the motel this year thinking it would be more fun than camping by ourselves.
