Does anybody sell unchambered barrels for the encore?   Do they offer .17 and .20 cal, and fast twist also?

Have yet to see anyone offering such a barrel.  I doubt that you would save any money since part of the costs involved is with welding on the lugs. What are you trying to acheive?  Are you going after a chambering that isn't available?

Match Grade Machine will build you an unchambered barrel to your exact specifications.  I thought about ordering a .308 bore barrel for my Contender and have it chambered in 308 Bellm, but it will be cheaper to have a used barrel rechambered (for my project anyway).  Seemed like it would have cost me about $50.00 less than a finished barrel, if I remember correctly.

Yea, I have a couple of wildcats I want.  But mainly I feel better with my gunsmith doing it so I can control the throat depth and neck thickness.   I was hoping tc custom shop offered them at a discount.   I have more confidence in my gunsmith than a mass produced barrel.

You can get them from MGM and $75 off was what I was quoted. So that would be $275 for blued and $320 for stainless
