Could be slim, could be. I ran the free AVG antivirus for several years then went with the Norton Internet Security 2009 and renewed that to Norton Internet Security 2010 within the last week.
I cant really say enough good about this anti-V + smart, user friendly firewall. It catches a lot of Trojans but I have also had it tell me that someone was trying to scan my ports with the attempt blocked.
It varifies most sites as being safe even before going to them but will place a ? mark on others.
Damages were $60 per year (a lot of powder n ball) but I figure that it is worth it. Live updates are now measured by the minuet or less and there is no strain on my system resources.
