One way is to take a scapel or razor blade and skin or make circle cut around glands fur and all and then pinch fur and pull up and cut glands out whole an cut off carcass. ( you have all the skunks glands and the fur covering them including anus ect) this way you can skin skunk just like any other animal and not worry about putting pressure on glands.... If you have a very sharp knife you can. use instead of razor blade but not many people do and you canmake precise cut where you want without pressure. Good luck..
