Linebaugh has done some extensive loading with the .45 Colt and has some pretty firm ideas of it's capabilities? If you'll dig a little deeper on the web, I'm sure you can find some earth sattering facts he's discovered about pressure?

Had read those articles before.  Wrote Linebaugh and got a personal reply wherein the slowest load was 8g w231 under a 260g lead bullet.  Taffin also lists that load with a 255g lswc as very accurate out of his 25.  I've not tried this in my 25 or my Uberti or Ruger.  I did use it once out of a 10" tc on an Ohio deer.  It also produced one hole groups at 25 yds. out of the tc which I no longer have.  Big mistake!!!!!!
