Just like one rifle doesn't do everything, I have a few bikes. I love my XT225 dual sport, its super light and narrow, great for tight single track, not too much power and weight, but more like a nimble mountain goat. It'll do 65 all day on the highway, but not exactly a confidence inspiring ride at those speeds with knobby tires. It's at home on the fireroads and logging trails. I laid it down going up and down stuff a little over my head and out of my skill level, but it being what it is, it is super cheap to replace fenders, bars, and other parts. If I lay down one of my sportbikes I', looking at 1,000 easy in repairs, but the ole XT can take a whipping and come out with 50 bucks in repairs to be good as new. 65 MPG and $58.00 a year for full coverage, its probably my most usefull ride.
