Thanks
I found this site this afternoon and started working up loads for the 325 gr and H322.I started at 46 grs and made it up to 49 when my shoulder cried uncle!(remember- this is a handi rifle) Next time I"ll use a sandbag between the rifle and my shoulder. Happy shooting! G66

I feel for you.  I use these loads in  Win 94 and it is a big kick, pun intended.  I never owned a lever action and I stumbled into the Beartooth website.  After reading all about the 444 there I got one and 6 lever guns later I would call myself a lever gun nut.  A loud mouth at the range thought he was making fun of me and my 30/30. It was the 444 and the first time out with full loads of the 325gr.  He never noticed the size of the shell I was feeding.  I had the last laugh when I let him shoot it.
Let me know how that works in your Handi.  I had one in 204 ruger and could never get it to shoot well and traded it in but have been thinking about getting an other one in a bigger round.

I also enjoy leverguns but as I am growing older it has become a chore picking up the brass.I have always loved singleshots so it was a natural thing switching to the handis. They just seem to grow on me.Problem is that the weather has been so bad that when the pretty days come along,I have other things I must do outside other than burn powder.
I will advise when I am able get in some range time.G66
