Scope Ring Height

Anyone out here have a 56mm objective scope mounted on their Encore. I have a Tasco Pro Shop 8X40X56 that I need to mount on a heavy .204 TC barrel. Due to recent events I have not been home to lay the parts out and take any measurements. However today I will have a chance to stop by a shop and pick some rings up. I have a weaver rail on the barrel already. Not sure if High or extra High rings will be needed. Thanks for any help.

If this helps?  I have 40mm scopes on many of my Encore barrels.  I use weaver MED. rings   The scope clears  by about 3/16" to 1/4" . so I would say you will need High rings for your 56mm scope.

That does help there should only be a 8 MM difference from 40 to 56 from center line of scope to bottom. That pretty much eats up the 1/4 that you have so High rings should get me just enough. Thanks.
