SB2 Factory 357max or what? Questions?

 I have owned this rifle for a few months but didn't realize exactly what it is. I decided to take apart and this is what I found.
 It is a 1996 HK and appears to be a SB2 frame with nice finish and the barrel is marked 357 Maximum Ultra and serial # match
on both. Has what appears to be WGOS sights and a beautiful straight gripped Cin Lam stock that has a Uncle Mikes pad on it.
It is D&T for scope mount which I have to do because of old eyes though I have shot the open sights with a pair of computer
glasses up to 75yds and done well. Is this factory or what? Any more out there? Comments?

Yes, it was factory made at one time by HR1871 and earlier by H&R Inc.

Another nice one!!  New acquisition?  I have a couple sets of those straight lam stocks, I like them too!!

Nice rifle buddy, I once passed on an original .357 Max like that except it was in camo laminate and I still kick myself for doing so....<><....:)

  Thanks guys, picked this one at estate sale, wish I could find more of those stock sets also, do have a set of limited edition camo
lams straight grip on a model 158 357 mag. This one here is becoming one of my favorites. Have thought of cutting it to 18".  Fred

NOOOOOOO!!! Fred please don't cut that original .357 Max barrel. If you want to cut something down cut a reamed out .357 Mag barrel, there are plenty of those around, however there are not many original .357 Max barrels....<><....:)
