Burris rings for the CZ 550

Has anybody used these in lieu of the factary rings? Any shortcomings?

I used a set on my .375 American Safari w/o any issues.

They were approx half the $$$ of the CZ rings.

I have Burris Rings on  my 527 and I think they are tons better than the factory rings shipped with my rifle.

My CZ factory rings were finished very poorly and had lots of sharp edges.

bought a set of the Burris. They seem ok,nuthin fancy,but look like they will get the job done

I also put a set on mine after the CZ ring screws stripped out. The Burris are better and much cheaper. ;D

I use the Burris, Signature Z Rings (the ones with the inserts) on my 550. However, I also have to use the CZ weaver rail base.

After mounting everything up, the scope objective len's bell sits about 1 3/4" from the barrel (I'd have to measure it to get the exact distance, but there is a lot of room). The scope is a Burris Fullfield II, with 40 mm Objective Lens. I thought the height of the scope was going to be a problem at first, but the configuration actually gives me a better cheek weld and the ability to hold my head up straighter, and not have to crank my head over and squint into the scope. I like it. Now all I need is a scope with an objective lens of around 55 mm. :D

Hi Skunk,
I'm very much interested in a similar setup. I have an older ZKK- 600 in 7x64cal.
The Weaver or Picatinny rail conversion would make a perfect sense to me.
My plan is to alternate between scope and red dot sight. The rifle is used mostly on European hunts, where we do drives (red dot) and late night stand
hunts with large objective scopes mounted. Where did you get your rail conversion? Posting a picture of your setup  or a link to the source would help me out greatly. Thanks:vgmhunor
