I was under the impression that 7mm08 was a 308 case sized to 7mm like 7-30 waters is 30-30 sized to 7mm or do I have my facts wrong?

You got it Deacon, Run it through a 7-08 die, and shoot it. I had trouble with a 7-08 rifle that wouldn't shoot and I tried everything. Finally since most of my brass was 308, I bought an outside neck turner. Didn't help.

All I use for my 7mm-08 Remington ammo is 308 Winchester brass, saves me lots of money.

Yes you got is perfect, just full length size.  Always good to check the trim length, but most likely it will be shorter than the trim length for 7mm-08 Remington.

I do not get where everyone thinks that 308 brass is so much cheaper than 7-08 brass. Presently, there is only $5 difference between the cost of new 308 ($40) and new 7-08 ($45) brass per hundred. Unless you have 308 brass that is new given to you (lucky you) or you have known once fired brass for free or extremely cheap, I just do not get it. Why save $5 (5 cents per piece) and end up with a head stamp that is not correct, the hassle of full length sizing and shorter case life. I do not full length size new brass, because it just works the brass once more than it needs to be. I definitely would not use brass of unknown origin or unknown number of firings. I always just neck size brass as much as possible and consider the first firing to a forming load so full length sizing just squeezes it down once more. But that is me, you are always free to do what ever you want. Good Shooting and Good Luck

Like I said if it is free, then have at it. I do not get any range brass and not sure I would use it if I could - but that is me.

I was on a National Guard rifle team for awhile. Lots of match brass . I think that is about the best brass you can get. Actually I bought the 7-08 because I had all of this good brass.
