Did Legacy International/Puma discontinue the 92 in .454?
It doesnt show on their website and I would really like to pick one up with my tax rebate.

LSI is no longer the importer for Rossi rifles, now they are imported by BRAZTECH.

Thanks guys.
Good internet seachin!

Now i checked them out and the rossi's have the scalloped butt cheek on their stock...
Would it be a serious transgression if i had it cut off flush? And do you think it would shorten my length of pull that much?

Not sure how up to date this is but with the way the name appears it looks like Rossi has been bought.

40plus, the 454's and 480's come with a recoil pad, the carbines come with a "dished" butt plate and the rifles come with a cresent butt plate.  I ordered a 454 butt stock for my 44 mag to take some of the sting out of the 44's.  The kids and I have gone through several boxes of shells at a time with our rossi's, and the kick can get to ya after a hundred or more rounds wearing a T-shirt.  DP   OOOOOPPPS!  Well, it seems I'm behind the times.  No more 480?  Only model with a butt pad listed was the 454 with a round barrel?  Sorry for my mis-info.  DP

Get one I have 2, a 44 and a 454 they are good guns and lots of fun. The nice thing about the 454 is you can also shoot 45 LC out of it, in mine the 454 shoots a lot better than the 45 LC.
an unloaded wepon is equal to the same mass and volume as a rock.
