Got the old girl back!

    Last Febuary the plant I worked at shut down and I got pretty hard up for cash about mid july. I ended up selling my handi 45-70. Well at 7:00 this mornin the guy I sold it to calls and asks if i'd like to buy it back. Long story short, I'm still out of work but she's back in my gun cabinet.

I did the same exact thing with my 44mag. I bought it new in 1996 and traded it away 2 years later... it took me 10 years to get it back. I won't make the same mistake again.

    Yeah it wont get sold again. dont matter how bad im hurtin for cash. The guy i'd sold it to is an iron worker and he's been out of work for awhile now. Everything happens for a reason. I'm lookin forward to smokin a couple of deer.

  Yeah when he called I didn't think we had any extra cash for something like that. But my wife has been putting back any extra cash and told me to stop whining and get it back while i had the chance. Shes a good woman and I'm lucky to have her. But if cash gets short again I might have to ask her to put in some time at the corner. Lol
