This time of year.....
« on: March 20, 2010, 03:26:46 PM »
Well I have to admit that I have not been here as much lately, the room pretty much runs itself and I know Double D is around as well.  We have a great bunch that do check this room out, and I should be on here more.  This is the time of year that I have Archery 3-D Matches, and spend most of my free time during the day at Spirit Quest Archery.

Spring Black Bear season is upon us next month, along with our Spring Turkey season as well.

For those applying for Montana tags, I wish you well in getting selected and drawing tags.

Man, the month is getting away from me. :o  Better get up to FW&P to get the apps for tags.  This month has been a bugger,  bunch of teeth pulled and new dentures, then got bronchitis and just getting to feeling human again.  Went up to my cabin and took 4 guns that I hadn't shot at all or only a few shots.  Things were OK up there, saw lots of deer and antelope.  Put 20 rounds thru my new 1895 45-70 guide gun that had to go back to Marlin, she's working perfect.  50 rounds thru a new Handi rifle in 45 colt, sweet ;), 50 rounds in a new 1911 45acp and 50 rounds thru a Taurus 1911 38 Super.  Everything worked well, nothing wrong at the cabin and a pretty nice day, if a bit windy.  Still some snow on the north and east facing areas that don't get sun all day, water in all the ponds, tanks and ditches.  All in all, a damn fine day!  DP
RIP Oct 27, 2017

Antelope for me will be a 900 tag again, and for those that don't know what that is, its a Archery Only tag.

From here on out, ALL my hunting will be Archery Only as I just get more satisfaction from bowhunting.  I have decided to sell of my H&R 7mm-08 along with the extra .204 Ruger barrel, as I just won't be needing them any longer.
