maybe a stupid question..but?(stocks)

Why is it..whenever there are stocks for sale for the handi rifles,they are bought up like hot cakes?

 Because a lot of people dont have access to places like pawn shops to buy up used guns for parts. Or they want something different and dont want to wrestle with making all the calls to find ;)

Or because they might get lucky and get what they need or want a lot quicker than having to order from the company with out having to pay full retail plus tax?

Received another email from Boyd's today and they still appear to have thumbholes lams available for the Handi. Good luck on getting the forestock.-g

Just be sure to use the 50% off coupon code, $84 for an unfinished t-hole butt stock is NOT a good deal, even $42 isn't IMO, they've sold the finished stock with Pachmayr Decelarator pad for that amount before, I have two of them.  ;)

Darrell, its because here, on this forum, are a bunch of enthusiasts who generally sell stuff at fair prices to other enthusiasts. Sort of,'keepin' it in the family', kind of thing. This should be your 1st go to if looking for something, and you can post for what you want, too.

I agree Tim. The Boyd's stocks we were picking up last year as factory 2nd's or blemished was at a better price and had a real recoil pad. Not the 1/2" thin pads that are on them now. -g
