.308 Survivor Cont'd..Distance tested last night..

For me if I go over the 16x it is definatly over scope but as has been said some guys can use the high power I may just not use it enough. Most of the short time that I get to shoot at PD's and have to get out to 4-500yrds the wind is as much of a factor as the heart beat thus the the 25/06. This yr I will be playing with a very light 7x57 bullet a 243 and a 22-250 but at most they will have is a x14 or 16 variable on them. My new Jet may just stay open sighted and hope to use it for walkabout early morning Jack hunting.Kurt

I'll throw my hat in the ring for a Nikon Prostaff... can be had from Sportsmans Liquidators for $110 factory refurb. $150 otherwise.  Best light transmission for the $$$

I have a Mueller 2x7 on my survivor .308.  works great, even after I slipped and fell on the ice and banged it good.  That and when I posted my event here the guy from Mueller told me IF I have any problems to let him know and he would fix it.
Pretty good bunch of guys I think.
