Pics of the finished project!
« on: April 04, 2010, 01:35:35 PM »
Well almost finished. Some day the wood will get a blued frame and a MGM octagon 30-30 barrel and given to my grandson Bubby. He will then be the proud owner of the first stock set made by his Poppy Dave. Until thay day comes I guess I had better use it to make sure it is safe!!!!

That is beautiful!

Great design and workmanship. It is tough to come up with something that is unique AND attractive.

major kudos!

I am new to Contender carbines, as my first is still on layaway for now. So far, yours is the best looking stock design i have seen on the net.

Take care,

Tom

Wow - beautiful job!  Love the combination of pistol grip and the raised cheek piece on your buttstock.  Nice work.
