washington once again spends our $$$$ inappropriately
« on: March 29, 2010, 06:32:13 PM »
This time it was the RNC , but they are all guilty of this kind of abuse irregardless of political affiliations, it's either 400.00 haircuts or tips for strippers,  This is the last straw for me. I will never donate to political funds again.  I am so tired of this cra!@#

WASHINGTON, March 29
The Republican National Committee said Monday "personnel actions have been taken" in connection with a $2,000 expenditure at a Los Angeles strip club. The statement said the RNC had asked the non-committee staffer who ran up the charges to return the funds. Only after it was reported on.

The Caller story said Steele's activities as chairman had irked some staff members and donors who feel he has been doing too much jet-setting on the RNC dime and not enough heavy lifting to position the Republican Party for the upcoming midterm congressional elections. so who approved the submitted expense report at the RNC?

"The committee has taken appropriate steps to address the issues relating to the reimbursement of certain expenses," the statement said. "First, as reported, the expenditure in question will be recouped by the RNC. So what specifically are the steps they have taken? They say this every time a story like this is leaked out

Second, appropriate personnel actions have been taken and accounting and reimbursement processes are being revised to ensure that such an action cannot reoccur." Why were processes not already in place?

Heye said Steele was not at the strip club (cause he was Jet setting around using our $$$) and "had no knowledge of the expenditure, nor does he find the use of committee funds at such a location acceptable." Heye , stop regurgitating same RNC/DNC Washingtonian talking points, it goes without saying we all find this behavior unacceptable every time this occurs . When are these guys gonna get it , America is tired of this abuse and lame talk and the miss appropriations of our $$$. , this is far from the first time.

I don't care what political affiliation everyone is .. this is a non partisan problem. I am so tired of seeing Washington abuse of our hard earned $$.  For me it could have been any story of financial abuse that was broke , it just happened to  be this one that put me over the edge , I'm just tired of it all, the 400.00 hair cuts et al. I will never donate to political campaign funds or national committees again.

The sooner the RNC is broke, the sooner I'll not be seein'em on Fox News (the fair and blatant one). The only people they ever interview is folks like Romney, McCain and Huckaby, all three which were rejected by the American voters, and all three Republicans. I say spend away RNC, we got plenty of folks that'll send you more money.

Let me toss in a bit of ironic goverment spending (at least as I see it). The following is reported by NSSF:

SEN. REID ON HAND FOR CLARK COUNTY SHOOTING PARK OPENING . . . Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid welcomed firearms enthusiasts to the Clark County Shooting Park on Saturday for the official grand opening of the facility. Reid was instrumental in the development of the $61 million park on 3,000 acres of federal land. Funding came mainly from legislation Reid has championed while in Congress that allows unused federal lands to be sold with money returned to help Nevada communities.
With faith, all is possible. Not easy, but possible.
