NEF 2005 Handi Rifle limited Edition

I have a NEF 2005 Handi-Rifle 308 with a camo laminated stock.  There is a medallion in the stock which says "limited edition". Does anyone know anything about the limited edition?

Welcome! H&R used to make limited edition firearms just about every year, but haven't for quite a while, I wouldn't say they're real common, but they aren't very rare either.

Thanks for the reply. The rifle was bought used and in excellent condition. Once had a NEF 308 in a Gray Ghost model. Regret trading it off.

Gray Ghost model? Can't say I've ever heard of that, would it have had gray lams like these?
