Gun show
« on: March 28, 2010, 11:11:21 AM »
I just got home from a gun show in Gonzales La.. Not much to offer in H&R's but did see some 45/70's with 18 3/4" barrels for $229.oo. My wife bought a 22 pistol and I walked out with a nice Hen & Rooster knife.

I was there today too.  Maybe I saw you. lol.  I saw a few .357's also.  I saw an H&R someone put a douglas barrel on but did a crappy pain job on it.  I ended up buying an old 870 police shotgun.  I probably paid too much for it.

Try to look unimportant.   Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Only Handi so far is a 375 JDJ.

I found most things were over priced and they didn't want to deal that much.  That is the way all gun shows seem to be these days.

Way up here at the North end of the country, things aren't any better.  Gun shows few and far between and dealers shooting the moon with prices.  Most are trying to sell Handis for a hundred more than you can buy on line.

I saw a handi .357 and 44 mag new production for $279.  I saw a BC 45 long colt for about $330 at the same table.
