Remington 7400 Forarm fit a 7600 pump
« on: April 03, 2010, 10:41:25 AM »
I was wondering if a Rem 7400 forarm will fit the 7600 pump. The butt stocks are the same or are they different also?  Zeak

The buttstocks are interchangeable, but AFAIK not the forends, due to the inletting needed for the metal slide attachment parts of the 7600.

Ranger44 is absolutely right but I have swapped them. It rquires a lot of work, some replaced wood and a decent amount of AccraGlass.. Basically you fill and reinlet the forearm.. Wouldn't do this just for the heck of it but had a great set, pretty and well matched and didn't want to break it up..
