Me too!
He had an outstanding character. Leaders like him do not command excellence, they build excellence. To reach excellence, you must first be a leader of good character, and he had it.

The last statement was a great way to sum it up. Freedom lovers ask for guidance from above but to a Lib, the Gov. is their god.

Reagan was pretty much a good president. He for the most part stayed out of our business, but his time came and went like any other president good or bad. I suppose if he were my uncle or cousin or something I'd miss him. I'm more interested in America waking up from their stupor, and voting for what they "claim" they believe, rather than what they've been voting for. Then the present situation would take care of itself. I don't believe they will, but it would be helpful if they did.

I hear ya Slim, but I'm not sure that many in this country are capable of voting intelligently, because they are clueless about what America is meant to be.  These videos show a part of what this country is becoming. Including in the last one some Hollywood folk who think they know what America is about, and are able to spend millions in supporting candidates with communist tendencies.

Just a couple more generations of people being indoctrinated in our K-12 schools and our institutes of higher learning, and I'm afraid it will be about over. Their plan has been working wonders, in turning Americans into government loving zombies.

People that want to live free from all government intervention in their lives, and vote that way are a dieing breed.

a sad fact..but all things possible,if he but find a few in our number, worthy an humble enough to
be in his presense,an follow him..if his the role of the U.S. in world history is mostly in the past..
his will be done..but mine is to follow my great forefathers example,an never quit until the creator, does finally cue me to wash my hands of it, an come be with him..bullet or other malady ,makes no difference.. slim

I give Reagan credit as the best president of my lifetime and I am old enough to remember a little bit about FDR. I have never encountered another human being that I have agreed with 100% of the time and I didn't agree with all of Reagan's actions either but I did with most. I don't miss him but I do miss the America of his time. I don't believe we will ever return to those values either.

President Reagan was the best leader we had in the last half of the 20th century and so far in this century. Do we/i miss him, yes! Wish we could resurrect him. Let him go kick some socialist butt! The leftist would be shaking in their boots and crapping their pants. In my honest conservative opinion at least.

Before you put him on too high of a pedestal do not forget that Reagan supported the Brady Bill.
