Seeking comments on the Simmons 22 mag for a 22lr. I am considering the variable with the adjustable objective. Good bad or indifferent? I see them advertised for about $130.00 which seems like a reasonable price for a decent 22 scope. The rifle in question is just a hunting/plinking gun not a target model. Any input appreciated.
Thanks,
Dale

My experience with Simmons scopes has been dismal and I've heard and read more complaints about them than any other except BSA. I would never ever recommend one to anyone for any purpose personally.
Take a look at the Bushnell Rimfire line. I have tried them and now recommend them highly. One has now replaced the Weaver that used to be on my wife's Rem 541T.

Thanks, that is just the kind of input I was looking for. I surely will look at the Bushnell line in hopes they produce a similar scope. I've used Bushnells for years and generally have been satisified.
Thanks again,
Dale
