Can a person adjust??

Can a person adjust the trigger on a model 10 savage like u can on a stevens 200??I bought a used savage model 10 in 223 for 300 and it seams to have a stiff trigger, and i was wondering what a person can do to it by himself to make it a better trigger??   Thanks for the info John

Well, you could do to it like what was done to my Model 111, drop a Timney in it.  That will take the stiffness out of it.

If its the old model 10, yes . The Stevens line is simply the old Savage pre accutrigger model
