Heike, most likely if you bought it used, the previous owner has set the front post. Try it as is at 25yds and see where your shots print on paper. Usually the rear will be at five clicks off the bottom for 50meters range. If you need to adjust the front, there is a set screw in the front of the sight that locks the pin. When it has been loosened you can raise or lower the pin (leaving the rear alone). Raising the front lowers impact. The theory is to allow the rear sight to remain at a low setting (and using the front to complete the sight in). This way as you need to raise the rear you have reserved much of the travel. rp
