Soot and GGaskill must be in same business.
The real problem is the new configuration of the forum does not use a font that stands out as different. The official internet style is to make your link text flow in the rest of the text but this only works if the link encoding on the page makes it stand out as a link. The forum default for links is a plain brown color that doesn't really show as different from the black text until it has been viewed. I have complained about this but it awaits correction. For the moment, I will try to remember to underline or bold my links.
