Tommyt ,you are apparently one of those folks that want to smear the Tea party folks and try to discredit them! They have no links to any militia, or anyone else trying to incite violence! I saw on the tube where the left is going to infiltrate them and do things at their rallies to try to make them look bad. You can bet if they do the MSM will jump on it like a dog on a bone.
    These are just everyday people ,but the left is out to destroy them!

I see a disconnect. The Tea Partiers want to be feared, but they don't want to be thought of as dangerous. Which is it?

wreckhog;
      I see no disconnect whatever ! Where in the world did you get the idea the Tea Party wanted to be FEARED ? Likely you were NOT at any rally, because there is no indication they (we) want to be "feared", actually what they really want is for the PEOPLE to be RESPECTED..a whole different scenario.
   Don't you agree that the citizens should be respected by their elected officials ?
You must not be looking hard enough. From the St. Louis Tea Party home page. Respect huh?

Respond, Don’t React

Staying home is a reaction.  Tea Partying is a response.

Look Janet Napolitano in the eye and tell her “we surround you.”  We do.  We have the power.  They have a book by some commie punk.  We win.

If Janet Napolitano had the power she claims to have, she’d be in St. Louis tonight, at Kiener Plaza.  She won’t be there, because she’s a frightened punk, too.

  Wreckhog;
    Youi STILL must be kidding ! Your loose usage of the term "fear" is where the problem lies. Yes, the "progressives" should learn to respect (or fear) the voting and persuasive power of the Tea Party and it's gathering strength..but does that make them physically "dangerous" ? The only danger is that a few long term government parasites may have to leave the gravy train they have been riding for years.

      The mood was covered with one of your own "dangerous" quotes from the Tea Party;

   "Respond, don't react. ! staying home is a reaction. Tea Partying is a response".
  .....Just where on God's green earth, is the threat of danger in that statement ?

  Janet Napolitano is indeed surrounded by the citizens of this country..she sits in DC..many irate citizens of the U.S. to her north, south, east and west..sounds accurate to me.

   As far as the statements about "punks", I doubt that is any official position of the Tea Party; but any "Lamestream" reporter can circulate through a crowd and get any kind of response they want. A seeking reporter could likely get a lot nastier statements from any leftist crowd.

  You're going to have to do much better than that !
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)
