What is your experience with the accuracy of the 30.06 Handis?

Excellent! I have two of them, an Ultracomp and a stainless, the Ultracomp shoots 150gr Fusion ammo phenomenally well and 200gr Nosler partitions equally well, the Fusion targets were shot by Mac for a postal shoot before he sold the Ultracomp to me, I did the handload shooting. The Fusion ammo shoots pretty good in the stainless Handi too, dunno what happened on the flyer tho other than it was slower than the other two, I think it was the 2nd round IIRC. Nope, it was the third shot, unusual for vertical stringing, maybe it was mostly me!!  ::)

Will let you know in a couple of weeks.  Just fit a 22", standard contour, 1992 30-06 barrel on a 2008 frame.  Has a New Redfield 4 12 40.  I shot a 1.5" @ 100 yards using 40+ year old Lake City FMJs the other day with my kid barking away next to me with an AR 15.  Starting load workup next week with 150grain bullets and Varget, WLR primers.

RIP Tom: Tom Nolan, ( bikerbeans) passed away this afternoon (02-04-2021).

Why be difficult, when with a little extra effort you can be impossible?

I am no bench rest shooter by any means but with 125 sierra my 30-36 keeps under an inch with 3 shots (@ 100 yds).
It could maybe be tweeked better but once I find anything shooting less than an inch I am happy enough.
Good luck with yours. Brent
