Maybe the health care bill ain't so bad
« on: April 19, 2010, 05:08:28 PM »
i got a letter in the mail today from my congressman, representative Dave Obey, explaining how great the new system will be and all the good it will do ::). so i had to send him an email, this is the first time i ever emailed one of these a--holes, now that i know how easy it is, i'll have to do it more often :).

Congressman Obey,
I appreciate your efforts on trying to convince me that the health care bill was the right thing to do. Maybe you should have tried to convince us of that before you voted for it. You and many others in congress seem to have forgotten that you are REPRESENTATIVES of the people, NOT our caretakers doing what you think is best for us. The only good that has come out of this mess, is that a lot of people are finally waking up and hopefully you will be looking for a different job soon.
Very Sincerely,
Andrew Matott

more than likely he will never even read it, but i hope somebody does. makes me feel better anyhow.
I'm just a bitter Christian clinging to my gun.

I think the HC bill is very helpful in identifying those seeking to leave politics. ;D

If there is any good that comes from the HC Bill I hope it is that it wakes people up and gets them to the voting booths. Maybe it then will show our elected officials that they are indeed elected to do our bidding, not doing what they "think we need"
