Who makes a good hat I have several beaver pelts and would like to get a trooper hat made. I have considered USA FOXX Any other web site I could look at?? Thanks Fireman

I've had 4 hats made by USA Fox with only one being questionable. So for the most part I can't say anything bad about using them. I have seen post on other site where they have been ripped pretty good for their billing and tanning practices. I'm pretty sure they don't tan in house and so the tanning issues were probably a poor choice on their part of tanner. The hats I had made the furs were tanned by Moyle then I sent them to USA Fox. The one hat I had question on was years ago I had a coon skin cap made for my son. I'm not sure to this day they actually used the coon I sent them. That was the only time I sent them a fur that wasn't already tanned so I have no idea how it looked after coming back form the tanner to them. That is why I have my fur tanned before I sent it to them. Then I know what I'm sending and have and idea of what I should get back.

Wild Things makes very good fur articles.   My vote is for them.  I have been burned twice by USA FOX  , no more.. give Don a call  and discuss what you would like to have done.  Don also supports Wisconsin Trappers association every year.
